An inter-school song and music festival was conducted in Ashgabat dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality. The Ministry of Education and its metropolitan administration organized the event.
The peculiarity of the creative action is that all the songs sounded in foreign languages - English, Russian, German, Chinese, Japanese and French.
The festival involved in its orbit about four hundred children from secondary schools in Ashgabat.They performed with solo and choral numbers dedicated to their homeland, its history, culture, nature, as well as hospitable, open, industrious and generous Turkmen people.
Young performers demonstrated a wide range of creative abilities: good vocal and choreographic data, possession of various musical instruments, including national ones.
As one of the organizers, the head teacher of the secondary specialized school No. 116 Kurban Kasymov noted in the conversation that such events contribute to the development of the personal and creative potential of the younger generation, stimulate their communicative abilities and interest in learning foreign languages.
What is important, the festival atmosphere is filled with friendly communication, creative ideas and positive emotions.The team spirit and co-creation level the rivalry between the fellows.
They sincerely support each other, since the knowledge of foreign languages for them is, above all, new opportunities in acquiring knowledge and breadth of thinking.
Bright scenic costumes emphasized the atmosphere of the holiday and decorated performances of talented children. The representatives of special schools Nos. 27, 40, 64, 68, 72, 116 received high marks for the results of the festival.
