During the visit of the rector of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas B. Atamanov to the People's Republic of China from October 16 to 20, a number of meetings were held to expand cooperation between Turkmenistan and China in the field of education.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during these meetings, issues of opening the “Lu Ban Workshop” in Turkmenistan, the Turkmen-Chinese energy training center within the structure of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas were discussed.
Following the visit, a signing ceremony was held between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, Xi'an Petroleum University, Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University, China National Petroleum Corporation and the China Association for International Educational Exchange on the opening of the “Lu Ban Workshop”.
“Lu Ban Workshop” is an international cooperation project in the field of vocational education, created and implemented by the Municipal Education Commission of the Chinese city of Tianjin since 2016 with the support of the Ministry of Education of the PRC.
