The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan expressed condolences to the Ambassador of Iran

On May 20, a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Mojtaba Ruzbekhani was held in Ashgabat.

During the negotiations, the Turkmen side once again expressed deep condolences to the Iranian people in connection with the tragic death of Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and other high-ranking Iranian officials as a result of the crash of a government helicopter, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.

Rashid Meredov emphasized that this tragic event caused deep sorrow in the hearts of all Turkmen people. On behalf of the leadership and people of Turkmenistan, he assured that the country is ready to provide any necessary assistance and support to the Iranian side in this difficult time.
