National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in China to participate in the III High-Level Forum “One Belt, One Road”, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
At Beijing Capital Airport, the head of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was met by officials of the People's Republic of China and Turkmenistan.
During the working visit to the PRC, the National Leader of the Turkmen people will also hold negotiations with the Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping.
China's “One Belt, One Road” initiative is aimed at improving existing and creating new trade and transport corridors connecting more than 60 countries in Central Asia, Europe and Africa. The project is designed to promote the development of trade relations between these countries and China.
