The head of Tatarstan and the governor of St. Petersburg will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan

Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan in September 2023, reports TASS with reference to Russian Ambassador to Ashgabat Ivan Volynkin.

“Today we are celebrating a busy schedule of joint work at the highest, high, departmental, regional and business levels.The visit of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Ashgabat in January this year and the first Russian-Turkmen business forum set an energetic pace for cooperation in various fields.

Mutual interests determine an active dialogue on the energy, transport, agro-industrial and humanitarian tracks.As a result, the delegation exchange is growing.Relations with the regions of Russia are also expanding.

Visits to Ashgabat by representatives of St.Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Astrakhan region have already become traditional.The Chelyabinsk region is actively involved.At the same time, each time the agreements based on the results of the visits result in new joint projects”, - he said.

Volynkin added that St. Petersburg governor Alexander Beglov and head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov are expected to visit Turkmenistan in September.
