The head of parliament and the deputy minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan entered the top 40 women leaders of Central Asia

Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Mahri Bashimova entered the top 40 in the ranking of women leaders of Central Asian countries, reports the IIC.

The rating was prepared by the “Yuksalish” movement together with the Institute of Social and Economic Initiatives with the support of experts.

When compiling the rating, the influence of candidates, their recognition and citation, as well as initiatives in the socio-political and economic spheres were taken into account. The final selection was carried out by more than 300 experts from the countries of the region.

In turn, Mahri Bashimova, as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, takes part in promoting projects related to the development of the “green economy” and the use of new environmentally friendly technologies. She also actively participates in high-level UN meetings.
