Igor Babushkin, Governor of the Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation, visited the Orthodox churches of Turkmenistan within the framework of the “The Caspian Sea Sea of Friendship” motocross.
In Turkmenbashi, Babushkin visited an Orthodox church - the Archangel Michael Church.
The visit to Turkmenistan ended with a visit to the Church of the Holy Right-Believing Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky in Ashgabat.
On the eve of the Astrakhan Governor held a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Issues of bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade, industry, education, logistics and transport were discussed at the meeting.
Also, within the framework of his visit to Turkmenistan, Igor Babushkin visited the Joint Turkmen-Russian School named after A.S.Pushkin in Ashgabat.Close friendly relations have been established between the TRSOSH and the school named after Magtymguly Fragi in the Astrakhan village of Funtovo.

Until April 11, the participants of the “The Caspian Sea Sea of Friendship” motocross will also visit the Iranian cities of Babolser and Reshte, the Azerbaijani cities of Astar and Baku, and the Russian city of Kaspiysk.
