At the MWC 2024 exhibition in Barcelona, Deutsche Telekom presented the concept of a smartphone of the future, where instead of conventional applications a chatbot with artificial intelligence is used. This was reported by runews24.ru with reference to Android Authority.
The company's CEO Tim Höttges is confident that AI is the future, and in a few years, we will forget about applications. According to his idea, the smartphone will be equipped with a smart assistant capable of fulfilling any user request.
AI will take over routine tasks, reducing the number of actions required to achieve a goal. The user can ask the AI for anything: take a photo and send it to friends, plan a trip route, advise what to buy in a store, and much more.
Deutsche Telekom collaborated with Qualcomm and Brain.AI to develop the project. Brain.AI already has a similar application for iOS, but user reviews about it are mixed. Time will tell whether this concept will be brought to life.
