The Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Ambassador of Armenia Arsen Avagyan

During the meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan Arsen Avagyan, priority areas of the dynamically developing partnership between the two countries were discussed.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties emphasized the successful cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, also noting that the activities of the joint Intergovernmental Commission play a major role in enhancing trade and economic ties.

The Importance of the participation of the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan in October of this year in the international forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations the Basis of Peace and Development”, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi, was noted.

The parties also considered the importance of ties in the cultural and humanitarian sphere as an integral factor contributing to the rapprochement of peoples, the source notes.
