1. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation. During the negotiations, the parties discussed current topics of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation. At the same time, special attention is paid to the practical implementation of bilateral agreements reached at the highest state level.
2. The State Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan “Daihanbank” topped the ranking in terms of the number of bank cards operating in the country. In total, there are 1 904 809 “Daihanbank” bank cards in operation in Turkmenistan. They are most used in Mary, Dashoguz and Lebap velayats.
3. On November 25, the “Watan” cinema and concert center will host a concert by Turkmen pop star Mahri Pirgulyeva, winner of the Grand Prix of the “Shining Star 2018” vocal competition. The concert starts at 18:00. The singer will perform her hits, as well as new songs from her repertoire.
4.The Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan summed up the results of the scientific article competition “Economist of the Year”, organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The competition was held throughout the year, and was attended by researchers, specialists from financial and economic structures, teachers and students of specialized universities, who published articles in the scientific and practical journal “Finance and Economics” in 2023.
First place in the “Economist of the Year 2023” competition was awarded to the head of the department for cooperation with the WTO of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, Ylham Yarashov.
5.Masters from Turkmenistan performed with great success at the World Hairdressing Championships, which was held in Sochi on November 21-23.About a dozen Turkmen hairdressers shared the prizes.
Masters Maksat Ovekov and Nurana Palivanova were awarded first place in the “Fashionable Women’s Hairstyle Category” category.The World Championship brought together hairdressing masters from 26 countries on one site.
Turkmenistan was represented by more than fifteen professionals.

6.Saudi Arabia plans to build the fastest, longest and tallest roller coaster in the world.The attraction, called Falcon's Flight, will be located in the new amusement park, which is scheduled to open in October 2024.
The coaster will have a maximum speed of 251 km/h, a length of 4,3 km and a height of 160 m.
7.In Australia, a 77 years old tourist was fined 3300 AUD for leaving a chicken sandwich in her luggage/ June Armstrong flew from New Zealand to Brisbane.
In her bag there was a sandwich that she bought for the trip and forgot.Australia has strict rules for importing meat products.It is prohibited to import it without permission, even if it is vacuum packed.
The tourist was not aware of this requirement and did not declare the sandwich.The fine was a big blow for the pensioner.

8.Official fan zones have opened in Ashgabat for fans of the World Kurash Wrestling Championship, which is just days away from the start.You can watch the broadcasts of exciting fights on the territory of the capital's shopping and entertainment centers “Berkarar” and “Ashgabat”, as well as the Olympic village.
Broadcasting of sporting events will be carried out on LED screens specially installed for this purpose.Entrance to the fan zones is free.An entertainment program, photo zone and competitions have been prepared for fans.
9.The Turkmenistan boxing team took part in the opening ceremony of the World Youth Championship, which starts today in Yerevan.The solemn ceremony of welcoming the participants of the world championship took place at the “Mika” sports complex. 600 boxers from 60 countries take part in the championship.
Athletes aged 15-16 years will compete in 13 weight categories.Competitions in the tournament start on November 24 and end on December 4.
