The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, during which the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during the conversation the heads of foreign affairs departments paid special attention to organizing contacts at the highest level both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international forums and meetings.
A constructive attitude towards expanding and strengthening trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two states was emphasized.
