A building in the city of Arkadag will be built for the Football Federation of Turkmenistan. This was stated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a working trip to this city on Saturday.
The head of the highest representative body of people's power “determined the site for the building of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, which is planned to be built here”, announced the news program “Watan” of Turkmen television.
Earlier it was reported that at the meeting of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the head of the International Federation of Football Association Gianni Infantino, which was held in May this year, an agreement was reached on the construction of a FIFA training and methodological center in the city of Arkadag.
This center is designed to promote the popularization of football in Turkmenistan, the further development of fruitful cooperation with FIFA and other interested foreign partners.
