The first robot cleaner cleans the streets of Moscow

The first robot-cleaner “Pixel”, created by the specialists of the company “Avtonomika” in the scientific and technological valley of Moscow State University, appeared on the streets of Moscow, Mayor of the Russian capital Sergey Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel.

The chassis, body, and software of the robot were created entirely in Russia, and the elements of the control system were created in cooperation with Belarusian colleagues.

Now “Pixel” is being tested. It can do wet and dry cleaning of the streets for 16 hours, and thanks to interchangeable equipment, it can be used all year round.
