The first group of Turkmen pilgrims, having performed the Hajj rites in Saudi Arabia during the celebration of Eid al-Adha, safely returned to their homeland.
Having visited Mecca, which is considered the center of the Islamic world, they bowed to the sacred Kaaba, made 7 circles between the hills of Safa and Marwa.And in the sacred Medina they visited the mausoleum of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions, famous mosques and other sacred places.
During the Hajj, the Turkmen pilgrims offered up prayers to the Almighty in the name of the further prosperity of their native Motherland, the well-being of the people, the information program Watan of the Turkmen television reported.
