The final, fourth stage of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) PRO Licence Coaching Course has begun in the capital of Turkmenistan.This stage, which will last until August 15, completes the one-year training course that began in November 2023.
Fifteen coaches from the national championship and the national team of Turkmenistan are participating in the program aimed at obtaining the highest coaching category.
The course is conducted under the guidance of UEFA instructor, Moldovan specialist Genadi Scurtul. The training includes both theoretical classes held in the conference hall of the “Yyldyz” hotel and practical training on the pitch of the “Ashgabat” multifunctional stadium.
The full training programme consists of eight modules, divided into four stages. The first six modules were delivered in 2023 and early 2024. Successful completion of the course and passing of the exams will enable participants to obtain a PRO licence, the highest qualification for football coaches.
