The Final Ashgabat Document was distributed as a document of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly and UN Security Council

As known, on the 12th of December 2020, the International Conference entitled “Policy of neutrality and its importance in provision of universal peace, security and sustainable development" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan took place in Ashgabat, informs the web-site of the MFA of Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated to the work of the Forum.The video statements of the United Nations Secretary General António Guterres, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Dr.Yousef Bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Vladimir Norov, and UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay were heard at the Conference.

Upon the outcomes of the International Conference, the Final Ashgabat Document of the International Conference “Policy of neutrality and its importance in provision of universal peace, security and sustainable development” was adopted.

The Final Ashgabat Document was published on the official languages of the United Nations and was distributed as a document of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly and UN Security Council.
