The festival "Nury Halmamedov's Music - the incessant melody of the epochs" included a number of bright, memorable events that allowed to be known the life and work of the outstanding Turkmen composer, who left a significant mark in the musical culture of the 20th century.
Concert programs, contests of composers, pianists and vocalists, violinists and cellists, scientific debates, film screenings made it possible to appreciate the personal versatility of Nury Halmamedov, a musician and citizen whose talent flared up with a powerful flame, but did not fade with his departure, but fell into a myriad of lights filling our hearts of love and inspiration.
The special place was taken by a documentary, which was shown at the Ashgabat cinema-concert center, where gathered the admirers of the outstanding composer’s talent.The creators of the documentary picture began with a story about the small homeland of the great composer - the village of Daina in the etrap of Makhtumkuli, or rather, from the monument of Nury Halmamedov installed there by the work of the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Saragt Babayev.
The natural pearl of the country - Sumbar valley - inspired the composer, not by accident the filmmaker paid special attention to the poetic beauty of this region.
