The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Vienna, together with the diplomatic missions of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the editors of the Society magazine, held a cultural event dedicated to the international holiday of Nowruz.
Within the framework of the event, which was organized at the “Park Hyatt” hotel, there were music concerts, exhibitions, including national dishes.
Turkmen handmade carpets, national ornaments and souvenirs were displayed in the pavilion of the Embassy of Turkmenistan. Particular attention of the participants was attracted by the portrait of Magtymguly Fragi and the collection of his poems translated into different languages of the world.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Austria Hemra Amannazarov noted that in 2024 the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and classical poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi will be widely celebrated, reports the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
