The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania has started the extension of passports

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania has begun to extend the passports of Turkmen citizens, the official website of the diplomatic mission reports.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 2300 dated July 1, 2021, the validity of passports of citizens of Turkmenistan for leaving Turkmenistan and entering Turkmenistan, which ended or expire between January 1, 2020 and December 30, 2022, was extended to 31 December 2022.

In this regard, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania (Bucharest city), upon request of the citizens of Turkmenistan, makes a note in their foreign passports on the extension of their term.

List of documents to mark the extension of the passport

A mark on the extension of the validity of a foreign passport is carried out free of charge and within one day. The applicant must pay the cost of the postal order, if the application is sent by mail.
