The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kyrgyzstan organized a briefing on the motto of 2024

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic held a briefing on the motto of 2024 “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”, the diplomatic mission reported in a press release.

During the event, which was attended by employees of scientific and educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, political scientists and media representatives, there was also a presentation of the first book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “Youth is the support of the Motherland”.

During the briefing, the speakers emphasized the special significance of the creative heritage of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly, which has become an integral part of the treasury of world culture.

Participants noted the relevance of including the collection of Magtymguly’s manuscripts in the International “Memory of the World” List and including his 300th anniversary in the UNESCO List of Memorable Dates, as well as the announcement by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) of 2024 as “The Year of the Great Poet and Thinker of the Turkic World Magtymguly Fragi”.

Guests of the briefing were also informed about the events in Turkmenistan that will be held within the framework of TURKSOY’s declaration of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024.
