A meeting with representatives of the tourism sector of Turkmenistan was organized at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Ashgabat. The meeting was held as part of the promotion and popularization of the tourism potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event was attended by heads and managers of such Turkmen companies, travel agencies and enterprises as: Soltan Dag, Suwara, Jahankeshde, Оguzabat, Saadaа, Halkara dostluk, Yola Rowana, Ashgabat Syyahat, Asman Daglary, Dan Semaly, Archman Daglary, Halkara Syyahat and Ozuz Travel.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, a presentation was made on the cultural and historical sights of Kyrgyzstan, tourist routes and the potential of the country's regions.
The participants were shown video materials and presented printed materials in the form of brochures and booklets on the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan, prepared by the Tourism Support and Development Foundation.
Representatives of travel companies of Turkmenistan showed interest in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and expressed their wish to maintain regular contacts with the Embassy, the source notes.
