The development of poultry farming was discussed at the Ashgabat Agrarian University

A scientific and practical meeting on the development of poultry farming took place at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the teaching staff, university students, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, and specialized specialists.

During the meeting, issues of breeding, keeping and raising chickens, as well as obtaining eggs and poultry meat, were discussed, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

Representatives of the UIET spoke about the importance of the poultry sector for creating food security and economic growth in the country.

According to experts, poultry farming is one of the dynamically developing branches of agriculture in Turkmenistan, which makes a significant contribution to meeting the population’s needs for meat and meat products, as well as chicken eggs.

The features of the Incubation process and the necessary measures to obtain a healthy and highly productive poultry population were discussed in detail.

Participants also discussed trends in the use of modern technologies in poultry farming, current methods of breeding and raising chickens.

Such scientific meetings at the agricultural university are held on a regular basis with the participation of specialized experts, representatives of business structures, research institutes, teachers and students of the organizing university and other interested universities, the source notes.
