The delegation of Turkmenistan will go to Russia to familiarize itself with the phytosanitary control system

The Turkmen delegation, consisting of specialists from the competent departments, is heading to Russia from May 28 to 31 to get acquainted with the system adopted in the Russian Federation for ensuring quarantine phytosanitary control, checking grain quality and monitoring residual pesticide content.

According to the publication “Big Asia”, representatives of Turkmenistan are expected to visit institutions and laboratories subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor in Moscow, the Moscow region and Stavropol, where grain and its processed products are being tested in accordance with international requirements.

Also, Turkmen specialists plan to visit the North Caucasus interregional department of Rosselkhoznadzor and the elevator of one of the grain processing enterprises in the city of Zelenokumsk, Stavropol Territory.

Following the visit, negotiations between representatives of Turkmenistan and specialists from Rosselkhoznadzor will be held in Moscow, the source notes.
