Today, the opening of the four-day international tourism forum Tourism Expo Japan - 2023 was held in the Japanese city of Osaka.
Turkmenistan is represented at the international specialized event by: Head of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan Akyniyaz Agamyradov, directors and representatives of private travel companies - “Ashgabat Syyahat”, Halkara Syyahat”, “Durdyniyaz”, “Dag Syyahat”, “Aziyanyn Merjeni”, as well as the AYMÄHRI Fashion House.
The Turkmenistan pavilion is located in the Central Asia sector, which is traditionally divided among the five countries of the region.
The main thematic areas of Tourism Expo Japan - 2023: recreation, including beach and active recreation, tourism and tourism products, tour operators. Along with the traditional format of exhibitions and business meetings, the organizers hold events that help exhibitors realize new business opportunities for the tourism industry.
Within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of the Turkmen delegation will hold presentation events, as well as negotiations with colleagues from foreign countries.
On October 29, will be the final day of the international tourism show, presentations of the cultural heritage of the forum participating countries. The demonstration of Turkmen intangible cultural heritage will be carried out by the AYMÄHRI Fashion House.
The exhibition brought together countries and regions from around the world and tourism destinations from all over Japan. More than 150 000 people are expected to visit.
Let us remind that Turkmenistan has more than once taken part in Tourism Expo Japan - the world's largest tourism exhibition for representatives of the tourism industry and travel enthusiasts, which has been held annually since 2014 and provides exhibitors with a unique opportunity to effectively and competitively promote their business in the Japanese market.
Tourism Expo Japan 2023 is jointly organized by the Japan Travel and Tourism Association, the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
