Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in a two-day forum on the topic "Introduction of digital technologies for sustainable economic development", which was held in the city of Urumqi (PRC).
According to the IIC, the Turkmen delegation included representatives of the Academy of Sciences, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the country's universities.
The forum was hosted by the Institute for Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC), and was attended by over 150 delegates from around the world.
The forum reviewed the progress of the CAREC countries in the development of digital strategies, the development of critical infrastructure and the creation of a favorable investment environment.
Particular attention was paid to the aspect of using modern technologies for green, sustainable and inclusive growth.
Within the framework of the forum, a seminar "South-South" was held. Government representatives and businessmen shared their experience of implementing digital technologies in their work.
