The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by the Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs, Rahimberdy Jepbarov, took part in the XIII International Investment Forum and Exhibition in Abu Dhabi from May 7 to 9, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The Forum annually brings together government representatives, business leaders, investors and experts to address global issues and promote investment. During the forum, the Turkmen delegation held a number of bilateral meetings with partners from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the UAE.
At the meetings, they discussed the development of economic relations, the efficient use of natural resources, the development of energy markets, attracting investments in large-scale projects, and also considered new mechanisms for contacts to increase productivity in fields, the introduction of environmentally friendly production, innovative technologies and know-how.
