The Czech national team defeated the Swiss team with a score of 2:0 in the final match of the World Hockey Championship. The meeting was held in Prague.

The top scorer was American Matthew Boldy with 14 (6+8) points. Canadian forward Dylan Cozens scored the most goals, scoring 9 times.
