The countries with the highest inflation rates in 2022 have been identified

The RIA Novosti agency conducted a small study and compiled a rating of price growth in various countries at the end of 2022.

The worst inflation rates were registered in Zimbabwe (243%), Venezuela (234%) and Lebanon (122%).Also in the top ten with the highest inflation rates were Argentina, Sudan, Türkiye, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Ghana and Haiti.

The lowest rates of price growth were noted in China and Oman (only 1,8%), and deflation occurred in South Sudan, where prices fell by an average of 11,6%.

The rating was compiled on the basis of data provided by the national statistical services of the UN member countries.
