The Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan and the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan discussed issues of agriculture

During the talks between the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan Guych Garayev and Vice-Premier, Minister for agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, cooperation in agriculture field was discussed.

The issues of food, agro-industry, crop production, animal husbandry and others were considered.

As the press-service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazan reports, M.Zyabbarov reported on his readiness to supply to Turkmenistan grain, sunflower oil, sugar, children’s food, dairy products, including dry milk, cheese and others.

G. Garayev, in turn, informed the interlocutor on export opportunities in Turkmenistan in the field of agriculture and noted the expediency of further expansion of cooperation in this direction.

Moreover, the Turkmen diplomat voiced a proposal to organize an exhibition of agricultural products of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan within the framework of the Joint Turkmen-Tatar Working Group on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, scheduled for March.
