Based on the updated FIFA ranking, the full composition of the draw baskets for the group stage of the Asian Cup in Qatar was determined.

The tournament will be held from January 12 to February 10, 2024 in Qatar with the participation of 24 teams. Cup matches will be played at the stadiums of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

As a result of the draw, the teams will be divided into 6 groups of 4 teams.

The Qatar national team is the current holder of the Asian Cup. In 2019, she triumphantly performed at a tournament in the UAE. In the final part of the Asian Cup, the Qataris scored 19 goals, and conceded only once into their own net - in the final match against Japan (3: 1).

The Asian Cup is held every four years. The record holder of the Asian Cup is the Japanese team, which has won the tournament four times. Saudi Arabia and Iran have three wins each.

The national team of Turkmenistan will not play at the Asian Cup in 2023.
