The Greater Asia TV channel published a half-hour report on its official website entitled “Turkmenistan. The heart of the Silk Road." The film crew visited key places in the country over three days and captured its unique history, culture and modern development.

The report tells about the ancient city of Anau, declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024 by the TURKSOY organization. Filming took place during international events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the poet Magtymguly Fragi. Journalists attended festive celebrations with the participation of artists from Turkic countries.

Particular attention is paid to the sights of Turkmenistan, the capital Ashgabat, the new “smart” city of Arkadag and the Avaza national tourist zone on the coast of the Caspian Sea.

The report from the Big Asia TV channel depicts the colorful bazaars of Ashgabat, the production of Turkmen artisans and interesting locations demonstrating the unique culture of the country. As journalists note, Turkmenistan has something to show travelers from all over the world.
