The Armenian Symphony Orchestra will give a concert in Ashgabat dedicated to the composer Babajanyan

Meetings of the heads of cultural and sports departments of Turkmenistan and Armenia was held in Ashgabat within the framework of the International Conference of Ministers of Culture dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Armenia reports this.

At the negotiations, the parties discussed holding the Days of Armenian Culture in Turkmenistan in Ashgabat in October and a concert dedicated to the outstanding Armenian composer Arno Babajanyan. The concert will be performed by the Armenian symphony orchestra.

As noted by the Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldi Shamuradov and the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan, holding such a concert will be an important event in the framework of cultural cooperation between the two countries.

At a meeting with the Chairman of the State Committee on Physical Education and Sports Allaberdi Saparov, Minister Andreasyan discussed issues of bilateral sports cooperation. The participation of athletes in international events held in both countries and the holding of training camps at the Olympic village in Ashgabat were discussed.
