In the capital of Tatarstan, within the framework of the gastronomic festival “Tasty Kazan”, the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi was celebrated.
The celebration of the poet’s anniversary, organized by the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan, harmoniously fit into the atmosphere of the festival. A master class on cooking Turkmen national dishes - pilaf and yoke over a fire - became one of the highlights of the event.
These popular dishes of Turkmen cuisine attracted the attention of the participants, and real masters of their craft demonstrated the subtleties and secrets of their preparation, the press service of the Consulate General said in a statement.

The musical duo “Dutaryng sesi” performed on the main stage of the festival. Turkmen performers played songs based on the poems of Magtymguly Fragi for the festival participants, which caused a storm of applause from the audience.
