The amount of currency transactions on the exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 9.5 million US dollars

253 transactions were registered at the auction of the state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan, which took place this week.

For foreign currency, entrepreneurs of the United Arab Emirates, Panama, and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene, gasoline, hydro treated diesel fuel, and industrial oil produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Businessmen from the UAE also purchased urea (JSC “Turkmensenagat export-import”) and polyethylene, and representatives of the business community of Great Britain-gasoline ESO-93 (SC "Turkmengaz").

In addition, colorless sheet glass, denim, dyed Terry products, and cotton yarn were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: Russia, USA, UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of transactions exceeded 9 million 567 thousand US dollars.

In addition, the electric car "Tesla model X" for 70 thousand euros was the subject of a transaction of entrepreneurs from Switzerland.

For manat funds, merchants from Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 27 million 42 thousand manats.

For the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased high-density polyethylene and polypropylene (SC “Turkmengaz”), hand-made carpets and cotton fiber for a total of about 79 million manats.

A week ago, the amount of currency transactions on the exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 11.3 million US dollars.
