Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Esen Aydogdyev met with General Director of the Tretyakov Gallery Elena Pronicheva, reports the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Moscow. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of organizing an exhibition of Turkmen artists and sculptors at the Tretyakov Gallery.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan said that the year 2024 in Turkmenistan is held under the motto “The Fount Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”, during which large-scale events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, philosopher and thinker are held both at the state and international levels East.
The interlocutors confirmed their mutual interest in intensifying productive relations based on long-standing traditions of sincere friendship and good neighborliness between Turkmenistan and Russia, and also agreed to hold consultations with specialists from the Tretyakov Gallery and specialized structures of Turkmenistan on the organization of an exhibition of Turkmen artists and sculptors in 2026.
