The Ambassador of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the program of the Moscow festival in honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Esen Aydogdyev got acquainted with the program of the VIII Moscow International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov, which will be held in April-May in Moscow and will be dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi, writes the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden age”.

Within the framework of his visit to the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts, where the main events of the festival will take place, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the exhibition and talked with the art director of the festival, composer Mamed Huseynov.

Huseynov said that the program for celebrating the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi will open on April 7 with a grandiose joint concert of cultural figures from the two countries.

In addition, literary and art competitions dedicated to the work of the Turkmen classic, as well as a competition of composers and educational projects will be held throughout the year.

Let us remind that 2024 in Turkmenistan has been declared the year of “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”. Numerous events are dedicated to him both domestically and abroad.
