The Ambassador of Turkmenistan discussed expanding cooperation with Tbilisi State University

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. Seyitmammedov and Rector of Tbilisi State University named after Ivane Javakhishvili (TSU) Jaba Samushiya discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the educational, scientific and cultural spheres, as well as the possibility of expanding partnerships and exchanging experience between universities of the two countries, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan informed the rector about the large-scale events planned for the current year dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.

For his part, Jaba Samushiya expressed his readiness for further cooperation and noted that holding joint events this year will help strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
