The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan Aymurad Kochmuradov and the Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan Rahim Hamro Saidzoda during a meeting on May 30 discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
The parties stated their mutual readiness to give creative impulses to this process. Particular attention was paid to the issue of strengthening cooperation between higher educational institutions of the two countries, reports the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan.
One of the areas of Turkmen-Tajik cooperation is the practical implementation of the Intergovernmental Agreement on the construction of a secondary school named after Magtymguly in the “Ergash Sultanov” peasant association in the Dusti district of the Khatlon region of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue coordinated steps to establish cooperation in the field of education between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, Aymurad Kochmuradov presented the minister with a new book “Magtymguly” as a gift, the source notes.
