One of the key vectors of the foreign policy of Turkmenistan is the strengthening of friendly relations with neighbouring states in which number is the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, write the Afghani mass-media.
According to the data of the National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) of Afghanistan, Turkmenistan takes first place in the volume of deliveries of gasoline to Afghanistan and also enters into number of three largest suppliers of diesel fuel and liquefied natural gas.
So, for 9 months of this year by Afghanistan from Turkmenistan more than 337 thousand tons of automobile gasoline and about 40 thousand tons of diesel fuel of different marks, more than 147 thousand tons if liquefied natural gas, more than 4 thousand tons of a gas condensate, about 1, 4 thousand tons of polypropylene and other production of the oil and gas complex total cost more than 230 million dollars were purchased.
Besides, duty-free deliveries of oil products to IRA were carried out: 140 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 30 thousand tons of aviation kerosene and others. Their cost following the results of three quarters of the year made up more than 180 million dollars.
Let’s add that the basic part of given production is delivered to the neighbouring country by railway line Atamyrat Akina, through the terminal for reception, storage and shipment of oil products in Ymamnazar on the Turkmen-Afghani border.
