On September 28, at the age of 83, British actor Michael Gambon, best known to modern audiences for his role as Professor Dumbledore from the Harry Potter films, died, Sky News reported.
It is known that the actor died in hospital after a long illness, he was diagnosed with pneumonia.
In addition to the Harry Potter franchise, Michael Gambon starred in the films Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The Adventures of Paddington, Sleepy Hollow, The Book of Eli, The Omen, The King's Speech. He won BAFTA awards, the Laurence Olivier Award and Emmy.
