In the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, the 80th anniversary of the Honored Education Worker of Turkmenistan, Associate Professor of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments Berdyniyaz Rejepmedov was celebrated. This was reported by the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
In honor of the hero of the day, a concert was held, the program of which included the best works of Turkmen and foreign composers.
The music of Giuseppe Verdi and Veli Muhatov, Johann Brahms and Alexander Varlamov, Felix Mendelssohn and the Turkmen folk melody Baga seýle was played.
The hero of the day himself took the stage to the original music of Bahar geldi ülkämize and took his place at the conductor’s stand.
Colleagues and students congratulated the hero of the day and told the public about his life and work.
As a teacher, Berdyniyaz Rejepmedov worked for many years at a special children's music boarding school at TNK, and then at the conservatory itself. His personal contribution to the development of musical art in the country is invaluable. Many of his students became famous musicians. In addition to his teaching activities, he organized a wind orchestra at the conservatory.
The anniversary evening ended with the solemn work Toý aýdymy by Chary Nurymov. The soloists were Ayna Seyitkulieva, Rovshen Bayramov and Begench Moshiyev.
