The 60 years old contestant will compete for the title of “Miss Argentina”

Alejandra Marisa Rodriguez, a 60 years old journalist and lawyer from Buenos Aires, became one of the participants in the “Miss Argentina” competition, reports Mail.ru with reference to the Independent.

Rodriguez is ready to challenge beauty stereotypes. She calls her participation in the pageant “the beginning of a new era” in which women will be judged not only on their appearance, but also on their values.

The woman beat out 34 competitors in the fight for the title of “Miss Buenos Aires”.

The “Miss Argentina” finals will be held on May 25, where Rodriguez will face competitors aged 18 to 40.

It is worth noting that the “Miss Universe” competition, which will be held in Mexico on September 24, recently lifted the upper age limit. Now women of any age can compete for the crown.
