Representatives of the CIS countries will gather at the “Yyldyz” hotel in Ashgabat on October 17 for the 37th meeting of the Advisory Council on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan reports.
Key topics of the meeting include strengthening interstate cooperation in the social and labor sphere and enhancing interaction with the economic bodies of the Commonwealth. Participants will discuss the modernization of labor legislation, analyze the situation on the labor market and consider measures to support veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the CIS countries.
A number of important documents aimed at deepening integration in the field of labor and social protection are expected to be signed. Turkmenistan, as the host country, will present its achievements in this area, demonstrating the country's progress in implementing social policy.
