Tennis players from Turkmenistan won silver medals at the international junior tournament

Young Turkmen tennis players completed their performance at the Open Dushanbe Championship U14, winning three silver medals. The tournament brought together 88 young athletes from Central Asia, Belarus, Russia and Canada, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

In singles, 13 years old Emirhan Rustamov distinguished himself and reached the final. In the decisive match, he lost to Amir Askar from Kazakhstan and won silver.

In the doubles tournament, Emirhan Rustamov in a duet with Suleyman Hudayberdiyev also became second, losing in the final to the Kazakh duet Amir Askar/Arken Syzdykov.

Another silver in pairs was brought by 11 years old Nazli Hudaykuliyeva, who competed with Ksenia Semyonova (Kazakhstan). Their international duet lost in the final to Vlada Kuzmenko and Sofia Pak from Kazakhstan.
