Tbilisi discusses forthcoming visit of Georgian parliamentarians to Turkmenistan

On Monday, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Tbilisi Dovletmurat Muratov discussed with the Deputy of the Georgian Parliament, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Chairman of the Georgia-Turkmenistan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group David Matikashvili the forthcoming visit of Georgian parliamentarians to Turkmenistan.

During the conversation, the active growth of Turkmen-Georgian relations, as well as the active interaction of the two countries in a multilateral format through authoritative international structures, including the UN, was noted.

The dynamic nature of the established inter-parliamentary relations and the importance of dialogue between the legislative bodies of the two countries will be especially emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation.
