During Taylor Swift's last two concerts in Seattle, the singer's fans expressed their enthusiasm so violently that they caused seismic activity equivalent to an earthquake of 2.3 points, writes Mail.ru citing CNN.
Western Washington University geology professor and seismologist Jackie Kaplan-Auerbach explained that the clapping, rhythm, bass and sound equipment during the concert created a powerful sound wave that “buried” into the ground and caused vibrations similar to those that occur during earthquakes.
