Tajik President Invites Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Central Asian Heads’ Summit

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in his letter to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited him to participate in the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States scheduled to be held in Dushanbe on September 14 this year.

The letter was published by Turkmenistan's official media on Wednesday.

"I am convinced that the upcoming meeting will contribute to further development of regional cooperation, strengthening security and stability in our common home Central Asia," Emomali Rahmon said in his message to the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon wished the Halk Maslakhaty Chairman health, well-being and success, and the people of Turkmenistan happiness and prosperity. He emphasized that he looks forward to the meeting in Dushanbe with great pleasure.

On the same days, the Tajik capital will also host the meeting of the Founding Council of the Heads of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
