Students of International Humanitarian Studies and Development University and the Institute of International Relations participate in Japanese programme of students exchange MIRAI 2017

Students of International Humanitarian Studies and Development University and the Institute of International Relations of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan have visited the Country of the Rising Sun under MIRAI 2017 on October 4 -11.

The programme of international youth exchange organized under support of the Foreign Ministry of Japan is aimed at consolidation of intellectual and scientific relations between the students of different countries.

Lectures and seminars have been organized for the participants of the programme in one of the prestigious educational institution of Tokyo, Keio University.The subjects of the lessons included an introduction to history and tendencies of modern development of Japan, its culture and foreign policy as well as the aspects of intercultural and international relations.

The youth from various countries was able to share gained knowledge and impressions in the discussions with Japanese students.

Rich cultural and introduction programme included the visit to places of interests including the Itsukushima Island, Kinkaku-ji and Hongan-ji temples in Kyoto, Memeorial Park in Hiroshima.The students from different countries had an expanded impression on technological innovations, visited Tokyo National Museum, had a ride on high-speed Shinkansen train as well as took part in the training of Tokyo Centre for Prevention of Natural Disasters.

Around 80 students from Europe, Central and Minor Asia studying politics, international relations and economy took part in MIRAI 2017 programme. It was the third year for our compatriots to participate in the programme what indicates the consolidation of Turkmen Japanese cooperation in educational sphere.
