The lesson was held in order to give a new impetus to the expansion of interstate cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in the field of science and culture. It was also intended to contribute to the mutual cultural enrichment of the two friendly peoples.

Let us remind that on September 23, regular classes on studying the Turkmen language began at the University of Tsukuba. At present time, more than 50 university students, both Japanese and foreign, are attending the courses.
