Student from Turkmenistan won third UNESCO model

Abdylaziz Saryev, a student at the International University of Humanities and Development, won the Best Idea and Approach nomination of the third UNESCO international model “Ethics of the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Education”.

The final stage of the event took place from August 12 to 14 in Almaty.

As reported to "Turkmenportal" by the University of Humanities and Social Sciences, the participant from Turkmenistan faced serious competition from students from 52 countries. However, following the results of the competition, students from Turkmenistan, Egypt and Hong Kong were chosen as the best and received awards for the “Best Idea and Approach”, “Best Speaker” and “Best Presentation”, respectively.

The third international model of UNESCO is an educational event in which participants act as representatives of UNESCO Member States, simulating meetings held within the Organization. Students participating in this model are introduced to the work and goals of UNESCO. They gain an understanding of international issues and become familiar with its key priorities.

Participants of the third international UNESCO model in Almaty presented their work on the field of artificial intelligence in their countries and presented proposals for the implementation of current topics in the field of artificial intelligence.
